25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Corina Beckby met with the Licensee, Loralee Luminare for the purpose of a case management inspection that was initiated by the Licensee. During today's inspection, Licensee and assistant were supervising 7 day-care children including 3 infants.
Licensee requested to add the shed in the backyard as an “On Limits” area. The Cosumnes Community Services Fire District clearance was received on 9/8/23. The shed will be used as a learning area. Licensee states the children will go in for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon with 2 rotations (or as needed) with a maximum capacity of 8 children per rotation. The shed is equipped with functioning carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, a 3A40BC fire extinguisher, and cooling/heating agent. Children will have personal water bottles available while using the shed. The home bathroom will be used as needed. The backyard was inspected and determined to be in compliance with Title 22 regulations. No bodies of water were observed on premises. During today's inspection LPA observed the facility yard sketch to be updated.
As of today's date, 9/11/23, LPA Beckby approved the shed in the backyard to become "on-limits" and will change the license to reflect the change that was made.
An Exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed and provided to Licensee, Loralee Luminare. LPA discussed and provided Appeal Rights to Licensee. LPA posted the Notice of Site Visit and Licensee acknowledges it must remain posted for 30 days. A Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
