25 | On 05/22/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx met with Licensee, Sima Eskandari, for the purpose of conducting an unannounced annual inspection. During the inspection, LPA observed a census of seven children in care being supervised by the licensee and two assistants. Facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday 07:30 AM to 05:30 PM.
A health and safety inspection was conducted in the areas accessible to children. There are no off-limit areas within the home. LPA observed a working telephone, functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher within the home. LPA observed home was safe, sanitary, and orderly. LPA observed that hazardous items such as detergents, cleaning compounds, medication, sharp utensils, and other items that could pose a danger to children in care, are properly stored out of children's reach or within child locked cabinets. LPA observed a variety of age-appropriate toys, equipment, and materials available to children within the home. LPA observed fireplace within the home has a glass barrier preventing access of children. LPA observed personal rights and supervision requirements being met. Licensee stated there are no poisons, firearms/weapons, or bodies of water on the premises.
LPA reviewed facility, licensee/assistant, and children’s records. LPA observed all required postings were posted and visible to parent/guardians. LPA observed a children's roster maintained and a fire drill log with drills being conducted and documented at least every six months; last drill was conducted on 04/29/2026. LPA reviewed records of children’s files and verified all files contained the required licensing forms and documentation. LPA observed sleep plans on file for infant enrolled, and naps being documented; LPA provided consultation on 15 minute sleep check documentation. LPA observed signed LIC9224 on file. LPA reviewed records of Licensee and assistant files. Licensee’s CPR/First Aid certificate is valid through 04/2027, LPA provided consultation of approved courses Licensee is exempt from Mandated Reporter Training.
