25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Seychelle De Luca met with Applicant Kirsten Stabile for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing tele-inspection (due to COVID-19). Applicant requests a preschool license to serve 47 preschool children from age two to entry into first grade. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The fire clearance was granted on 05/18/2021.
Applicant acknowledges that the following documents must be posted at all times: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, Effects of Lead Exposure, car seat poster, menus, and daily schedule. LPM provided and discussed LIC311A and the forms that must be in each child's and each staff member's file. The facility will provide 2 snacks and 3 meals.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are five classrooms: Room 1, Room 2, Room 3, Room 4, Room 5. LPA observed a sufficient number of tables, chairs, napping mats and cubbies for 47 children. LPA observed a variety of age-appropriate toys and equipment. There is a first aid kits kept in the kitchen. Medications will be stored in the kitchen in a locked box and out of children’s reach. LPA observed cleaning disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Applicant stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. Water fountains and water pitchers and cups are available in each classroom. LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector. LPA observed an sign-in/sign-out system.
