On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at approximately 8:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery, met with Licensee Roina Hamidi, to conduct a Case Management inspection for the purpose of increasing the maximum capacity from 8 to 14 children. During the inspection there were no children present. With the help of the Licensee, a health and safety inspection of all areas accessible to children was conducted. As of today, there are no off limit areas in the home. The Fire Safety Inspection Clearance was granted and received on 06/22/2022. Current CPR/First Aid certificate is current and expires: 04/04/2023. Licensee is exempt from Mandated Reporter Training due to language barrier. The posted License, Parent's Rights, Emergency Disaster Plan, and Fire Drill Log are all being maintained by the Licensee. Hazardous items were stored inaccessible to children in care. Per Licensee, there are no firearms in the home. Fire extinguisher (2A10BC), carbon monoxide and smoke detector meet regulation. The outdoor area used by children at this time is fenced and age appropriate toys were observed. The Licensee understands that 100% supervision is required in any unfenced areas. There are no bodies of water on the premises. Licensee understands that prior to making alterations or additions to the home or grounds, the licensee shall notify the Department of the proposed changes. During the inspection, LPAs discussed ratio and capacity requirements.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual – Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitting to the Department.
