On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at approximately 11:00 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing met with Director Kayla Daranykone, for the purpose of a complaint investigation and to deliver findings. It was alleged that facility staff are not qualified and staff did not provide adequate supervision. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations. LPA observed full supervision of all infants throughout the investigation. Staff and Parents stated in interview that infants have been fully supervised in their experience. File review confirmed that all infant teachers providing sole supervision to children are fully qualified.
Although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore, they are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted and a notice of site visit provided. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
