On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at approximately 9:45 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing met with Program Director Aaliyah Harris for the purpose of a complaint investigation and to deliver findings. It was alleged that staff handled day care child in an inappropriate manner causing injury and unqualified staff are allowed to provide care and supervision to daycare children. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations.
According to staff interview, infants are always lifted and moved in a careful manner, and infants are never lifted by the arms. According to parent interview, staff notifies parents of signs of injury that may have occurred inside or outside of the facility. Staff stated in interview that infants are always supervised by fully qualified staff. LPA reviewed staff records and confirmed that all staff supervising infants during the investigation were fully qualified.
