On Thursday, March 6, 2025, at approximately 3:00 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing met with Program Director Aaliyah Harris for the purpose of a complaint investigation and to deliver findings. It was alleged that children engaged in inappropriate behavior due to lack of supervision while in care. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations. Staff stated in interview that children are kept within line of sight at all times. Staff also stated that supervision has not been challenging recently due to low enrollment. Children stated in interview that teachers always see what the children are doing. Parents stated in interview that they feel very confident in the level of supervision at the facility and that children's activities are reported throughout the day via the ProCare application. LPA observed full supervision of all children throughout the investigation.
Although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore, they are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted and a notice of site visit provided. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
