Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Bello arrived at the facility at approximately 12:30pm and met with Director Shana Nijjar to close a complaint investigation, regarding the above allegations. Today's census was seven children. It was alleged that staff were not isolating sick children, staff did not contact parents to pickup their children when showing signs of illness and Director is not always at the facility. LPA made observations, gathered documents pertaining to the investigation and conducted interviews. Parent interviews did not corroborate the allegation. Staff interviews did not corroborate the allegations. Based on LPA’s investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
No deficiencies were cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Shana Nijjar.
