25 | On 2/26/2025 at approximately 08:40AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Perez met with Licensee, Liudmyla Burakovska, for an unannounced inspection. During the inspection there was a census of NO CHILDREN present. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Facilities hours of operation are 24 hours a day, for seven days a week. However, during today's inspection, LPA found active construction taking place. The licensee is adding on an addition to the existing house, where it will add an additional room, bedroom and bathroom. LPA was unaware of this. Licensee did not contact LPA. Licensee stated she has not had many children since November, but did not contact licensing, and would like to close March 3, 2025 until March 14, 2025. LPA explained with the new addition of the house, a new fire clearance will be needed and approved before it can be used, as well as final permits. When construction is complete, Licensee must contact LPA to complete a new inspection of the new addition and verify that that the fire department has cleared the new addition. Licensee stated, she will have two children in the existing part of the house in the evenings until March 3, 2025.
A health and safety inspection was conducted in the areas accessible to children. There are no off limit areas. Licensee understands that children may never enter these off-limits areas. The house has a working telephone, fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector that meet regulations. LPA observed all required postings. LPA observed home was safe, orderly, and free of hazards. LPA advised the licensee that if there are any poisons at the home, all poisons must be locked with a key lock or combination lock. The licensee stated that there are no firearms or bodies of water on the premises.
