13 | Licensing Program Analyst Erwina Pascual-Golamco (LPA) met with Director, Danielle Law, to deliver findings of the above allegations. It was alleged that Infants are placed in cribs with loose objects, Infants are fed with propped bottles, and Infants are left to sleep on the floor for prolonged periods of time. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA toured the facility, observed staff provide care to children, reviewed documentation, and conducted interviews. LPA observed nap and feeding times, and staff and client interviews revealed that staff do not allow anything in the infants crib when they nap, staff hold infants for feeding if they cannot hold bottles on their own, use the client provided Boppy for feeding or tummy time/playtime, and are moved to the crib if they observe infants falling asleep on the floor or while feeding. Clients and staff interviews, LPA observation, and facility documentation failed to corroborate the allegation that Infants are placed in cribs with loose objects, Infants are fed with propped bottles, and Infants are left to sleep on the floor for prolonged periods of time. Although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore, they are UNSUBSTANTIATED. continued on LIC9099-C...
