13 | Licensing Program Analyst Erwina Pascual-Golamco (LPA) met with Director, Vanessa Garcia, to deliver findings. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA toured the facility, observed staff provide care to children, reviewed documentation, and conducted interviews. LPA interviews reveal that although the facility is not under the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), they still follow the same guidelines for food service. Staff ensure that they serve components required for snacks and lunch that consists of protein, fruits, vegetables, grain and milk as needed. The facility sends Parents/Guardians the menu, and meals served to children through their communication App. LPA observation revealed that food and menu served to children had the appropriate components, and that menu matched the food served for the day. Interview statements, documentation, and observation, failed to corroborate the allegation that facility staff do not serve nutritious meals. Although the alleged violation may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that it did or did not occur, therefore, it is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
This report was reviewed with Director, and an exit interview was conducted. Appeal Rights were provided and a Notice of Site Visit (NOS) was provided to Director, who will post it for a period of 30 days for parental review.
