13 | Licensing Program Analyst Erwina Pascual-Golamco (LPA) met with Director, Vanessa Garcia, to deliver findings. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA toured the facility, observed staff provide care to children, reviewed documentation, and conducted interviews. LPA interviews reveal that staff would redirect children to an appropriate activity, sit and talk to them at eye level, and go over or assess the situation as needed. Parents/Guardians are informed in Brightwheel, a communication platform that the facility uses, if there are any incidents or injuries regarding their children. Interview statements and observation, failed to corroborate the allegation that staff handle children inappropriately. Although the alleged violation may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that it did or did not occur, therefore, it is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
This report was reviewed with Director, and an exit interview was conducted. Appeal Rights were provided and a Notice of Site Visit (NOS) was provided to Director, who will post it for a period of 30 days for parental review.
