25 | On 07/17/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Corina Beckby met with Applicant (A1) Caijuan Deng for the purpose of a pre-licensing inspection. Family friend, Ben Su was present for Cantonese translation when needed. LPA provided the Entrance Checklist to A1 and reviewed the LIC 311D, Forms/Records to Keep In Your Family Child Care Homes, children’s forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted.
Applicant and all adults living in the home have criminal background clearance and was verified by LPA accessing Guardian. A1’s tentative hours of care are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. A1 does not intend on providing overnight or weekend care.
A1 rents home and provided proof of control of property. Because A1 rents the home, proof of landlord notification is required. The LPA observed the Property Owner/Landlord Notification form (LIC9151) that the applicant confirms was provided to the property owner/landlord. The applicant obtained a signed Property Owner/Landlord Consent form (LIC 9149).
A health and safety inspection were conducted inside and outside of the FCCH. A1 accompanied LPA for the entirety of the tour. The FCCH is a 2-story home with kitchen, pantry, living room #1, living room #2, dining area, laundry room, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and garage. The OFF-limit areas are the garage, downstairs bedroom, 2nd floor, pantry, kitchen and right and left side of backyard.
