Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Raymond Moorehead and Aman Sharma conducted a case management inspection with Head of School, Jenny Davidson. A case management inspection is being conducted in response to the receipt of an Unusual Incident Report (UIR) from the facility. The UIR was received by the licensing agency on 10/05/2023.

The UIR documented an incident where a child was accused of violating another child's personal rights. The incident was self-reported, and the facility conducted an internal investigation into the matter.

During today's visit, LPAs investigated the incident, pertinent parties were interviewed, documentation was obtained, a tour/census was taken, and the following was disclosed. Staff interviews disclosed that children are supervised at all times, especially during "line up time". "Line up time" is when children are transitioning from outdoors to indoors, and where they are handed their individual water bottles. During today's inspection, LPAs observed the process of the children lining up in the outdoor play area and observed adequate supervision. Although it was confirmed that the subject child did get "bumped" by a water bottle by the other child, a violation of personal rights was not found.
Interviews with pertinent parties disclosed that there was no visual observation of the subject child's personal rights being violated by the other child.

Based on the information obtained, there appeared to be no violations of Title 22 Regulations pertaining to the reported incident at this time. LPAs conducted an exit interview with Head of school, Jenny Davidson, and provided a copy of this report. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for the next 30 days.
