Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rachel Zeron, made an unannounced visit to the facility to follow up on a request by the Licensee to add another toddler option classroom of 8 children, ages 18 months to 36 months, to the license. The current classroom (30) and the new classroom (31) will be licensed for the Toddler Option, with the total number of 16 toddlers. LPA conducted an inspection of the proposed toddler room and the toddler playground. Upon arrival, LPA met with facility Site Supervisor. Monica Parga. LPA observed no children in attendance in the proposed classroom at this time, classroom 30 had 7 toddlers in attendance today. A fire clearance was completed and approved on 09/04/2024, by the Chino Valley Fire Department.

LPA observed age appropriate furniture, equipment and supplies in the proposed Toddler Room. There is a changing table located within arm's reach of the sink inside the room. Drinking water will be provided by using filtered water and disposal cups indoor and outdoors.

The Licensee is requesting 2 waivers, one for shared playground with alternative schedules and the second for children to be allowed to nap in the activity area. Once approved classroom (31) will be licensed for the toddler option and the license will be updated to 16 toddlers.

No deficiencies sited on today's visit.

An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the Site Supervisor, Monica Parga. Appeal rights were discussed and provided during the exit interview. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for the next 30 days.
