13 | On December 28, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zirbes conducted a follow-up complaint inspection to MT. Calvary Kids Corner. LPA met with Administrator Vickey England. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings regarding the above complaint allegation. The investigation included an inspection of
the facility, a review of facility records, and confidential interviews with staff, parents, and children.
On October 5, 2023, the Department received one allegation alleging Staff 1 (S1) hit Child 1 (C1) on October 5, 2023. The investigation resulted in zero disclosures regarding S1 hitting a child. Facility records did not provide evidence that C1 was involved in an incident on October 5, 2023. Over the course of the investigation, photographic evidence was received showing an injury near C1’s eye. The investigation could not conclude if S1 hit C1 resulting in the injury near the eye. Based on the information obtained there is not enough evidence regarding the allegation of staff hitting a child, therefore, the allegation was deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED at this time. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
