On Thursday December 12, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA ) Braddock met with the lead teacher Melinda Morales for the purpose of obtaining a waiver for the new playground area while the old play ground is under construction until future notice. LPA toured and inspected areas according to the facility sketch. During the inspection there were 18 children present and 3 teachers. The hours of operations are 8:30am to 11:30 and 12:30am to 3:30pm.

**Measurements were taken according to the facility sketch.

New play area measurements are below. The difference in the measurements from the facility sketch is because the doorways (2) and the pillars (3) were subtracted from measurements.

24ft x 28ft = 672 minus 3 pillars 4 ft (2ftx2ft each) = 660ft main play area

6ftx6ft=36ft area in front of preschool classroom door minus the doorway

14x5ft =70ft area in front in kindergarten door minus the doorway. Per lead teacher Kindergartens does not utilize that door.

Per lead teacher they will take out toys such as soft blocks, balls, chalk, small basketball hoop and others toys outside at the beginning of the day and bring the toys back in after hours.

Per lead teacher, they will take the children out in three groups of in the morning (22 children registered). For the afternoon, they will take the children out in two groups (20 children registered). While the children are playing LPA recommended that the door remains closed.

With the above measurements, the new play area can accommodate 10 children.


An exit interview was conducted with the above items discussed and a copy of this report was provided to the Lead Teacher Melinda Morales, Final determination will be made upon review of the Licensing Program Manager.
