5. On the first business day of every month, the Licensee/Administrator will meet with all teachers who are working in the capacity of a teacher and have not completed the required 12 educational units. During the meeting, the Licensee/Administrator will obtain current documentation from the college verifying the teacher is still enrolled in the required course. In the event the teacher has disenrolled from the course, a new duty statement shall be signed, and the teacher’s role shall be updated on the LIC 500. The teacher shall immediately work in the capacity of a Teacher Aide and cannot be left alone with the children and must work under the direct supervision of a fully qualified teacher. An updated LIC 500 will be submitted to the Department by 5:00pm on the second business day of the month. The Center shall maintain documentation verifying the monthly meetings are taking place.
The above-mentioned written statements must be submitted to the department on or before January 10, 2025, and must address all topics outlined in this agreement.
The licensee was advised to contact the duty officer, LPA, or LPM whenever she has questions about any of the requirements to prevent non-compliance.
The Department will monitor the licensee's compliance with this plan over the next 24 months, which may expire on or before 11/25/2026, to ensure compliance with Title 22 Regulations.
During this meeting the Licensee provided copies of training completed by the staff.
The licensee has been advised and agrees that the Department is implementing a comprehensive compliance plan. The licensee agrees to maintain the facility in compliance with all Title 22 laws and regulations. If any legal action is taken, nothing in this plan precludes the department from including the above issues.
