32 | Kitchen: Home has a clean and fully stocked refrigerator/freezer, stove, and microwave. LPA did not observe any chemicals and cleaning solutions during the inspection. Hazardous items, sharp knives and sharp utensils (inaccessible on top of kitchen’s cabinet to the left of stove) that can pose danger to children. Licensee is part of the Ventura meal program, providing breakfast, am/pm snacks, lunch and dinner. LPA observed one (1) age-appropriate children’s eating table, and three (3) toddlers highchairs.
Bathroom: Children use the ½ bathroom (hallway to the right). LPA observed the bathroom, toilet, and sink to be clean, sanitized, and free of hazards. The following are inaccessible: Sharp items, mouthwash, shampoos, body wash, razors, nail polish, etc. LPA observed toilet and faucet to be in operable condition. No cabinet underneath sink.
Napping: Takes place in bedroom #1 for children over two years old. Licensee provides cots and mats, enough for children to nap. Per licensee, cribs are rolled out to dining area for infants and toddlers. LPA observed sleep log for infants in care.
Outdoor: The yard was toured and inspected. The backyard is completely fenced (Brick and wood fencing). The yard consists of artificial grass, and cement proper playing. There is one attached shade shed structure upon entering backyard. There is second sail shade structure in the middle of the yard providing additional shade. There are plenty of “Little Tikes” climbing structures and age-appropriate equipment. LPA observed an A.C. unit on the side of the home. There are two storage sheds, one in children’s playing area (made is accessible with lock), and a second large storage shed found on an off-limit side yard (main inaccessible with chain link fence and key lock). LPA observed one (1) water fountain with no water and filled up with rocks.
Advisory/Other: (S1) CPR/First Aid, Expires: (2/2028). Mandated reporter, Expires: (6/26/2027). Electrical outlets (are inaccessible with plastic plugs). Wooden blinds have no cords (Twist handles). The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in operable condition. First Aid kit was observed to be full of supplies readily available, in short hallway next to between kitchen and living room. Fire extinguisher (2A10BC) next to kitchen, fully charged with the needle in the green. Per licensee, there are no weapons in the premises, and nobody smokes in the home. Per Licensee, transportation is not being provided currently. LPA observed one (1) small pet dog. Per licensee, the dog is vaccinated and does not interact with children.
LPA observed documents to be posted in a prominent, publicly accessible (License, PUB 394, Earthquake Preparedness, facility sketch, to be complete and current). Emergency Disaster Plan and verification of fire and earthquake drills (3/4/2026).
