32 | Inside the employee break room, there were ceiling tiles unboxed, and stacked behind the employee’s couch, the furniture was shifted around and there was light dust around the baseboards. The yellow room had storage supplies and items stacked up high and was not locked during the inspection a teacher was asked to lock it.
Per the Director, the renovation work and painting were done after the daycare hours and no children were present. However, any alterations to the existing building shall be reported to the licensing department and the need for a waiver will be assessed. The facility did not report the building alterations to Licensing and the school aged children were in a dark space with no other lighting options.
There are two Type B deficiency cited during this inspection. See 809D pages attached to this report.
Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was read, a Notice of Site Visit, and Appeal Rights were provided to Katrina Henderson, Director at the facility. A Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for thirty (30) consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting will result in a $100 civil penalty.
