25 | On the above noted date and time, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Diana Brasel conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for a decrease in capacity per the licensee's request. The licensee has requested to remove the second preschool room from the current license, which will be now used for a second infant room for the infant program. Preschool room 3 will be licensed for a capacity of 34 children ages 2 through 5. The room was previously measured with a total indoor activity space of 1191.6 which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 34. Hours of operation will be Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Present during today’s inspection were (12) children with (1) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Lalita Bakshi that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
LPA observed a total of 3 sinks= 45 children and 2 toilets= 30 children. The licensee will be adding an additional toilet to preschool room 3, which will accommodate the requested amount of children of 34. The total amount of children enrolled currently is 20 children, the licensee is aware that until the additional toilet is added the capacity can not exceed 30 children. Upon completion of adding the additional toilet the licensee has agreed to submit pictures of the completed addition to the preschool restroom.
A current Fire clearance was granted on 06/27/2024.
An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report and appeal rights were provided.
A Notice of Site visit was provided and shall be posted for 30 days. |
