25 | On the above noted date and time, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Diana Brasel conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an Increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representative Ursula Macias Associate Director. Licensee is requesting to be licensed for a total of 88 children, 32 infants ages 0-18 months in rooms 1, 3, 4, 5 and room 2 is the napping room. 56 toddler option children ages 18 months - 36 months in rooms 6, 7, 8, 9,10,11, and 12. Hours of operation will be Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Present during today’s inspection were (66) children with (24) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Ursula Macias that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
LPA continued a tour of the facility. Today's measurements were used from the initial pre-licensing visit conducted on 10/19/16, there has been no changes to the indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured 3424.7, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (88) children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via filtered water and disposable cups. There are sufficient cribs, cots, toilets, changing tables and a potty chairs. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on 2/5/25.
LPA observed a total of (8) sinks and (6) toilets (2 of the listed toilets are potty chairs) available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (88) children.
