25 | On 5/5/22 at 10:15 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Patricia Berry was touring the facility for a complaint investigation, LPA discovered during the tour in one of the preschool classrooms there was a full bleach bottle on the changing table where the children's diapers are changed, accessible to the children. LPA observed the children were not in the classroom when LPA observed the bleach bottle, the children were on the playground. Staff was not ware the bleach bottle was on the changing table. LPA observed the classroom not clean or sanitary; LPA observed a dirty trash can with the lid partially open with food to the top of the trash can, dirty carpets, dirty tables, dirty throw pillows, etc.
According to regulation 101238 Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors and (g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children.
