32 | Staff stated in June of 2023 (prior to the Department receiving the complaint allegation) assigned extra staff to help supervise the children. Staff stated by having extra staff, the number of incidents has declined.
LPA reviewed nine incident reports from February and June of 2023. The incident reports were of children hitting, biting, and scratching other children.
Based on interviews conducted and what was alleged, there is conflicting information as to whether staff are not properly supervising children. Although the allegation may have happened, or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
Exit interview conducted with assistant director, report, appeal rights and notice of site visit issued.
Notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days. |
