32 | Allegation #4- On December 4, 2024, LPA observed the day care home in ratio. The interviews revealed the home was observed to be in ratio during day care hours. Allegation #5- The record reviews revealed there were three staff in care. The interviews and observation did not reveal if the Staff did not adequately provide care and supervision for the children in care. Allegation #6- The interviews revealed a day care child was given “blue medicine” for coughing by Staff, the interviews did not reveal if melatonin was provided to the children while in care.
Based on interviews observation, and record reviews, there was not enough evidence to corroborate the above six allegation(s). Therefore, the six allegations are Unsubstantiated, meaning the although the allegation(s) may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove the alleged violations occurred.
There are no deficiencies cited.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was read, a Notice of Site Visit, and this report were provided to the Otechia Jackson, Licensee, at the facility. A Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days. Removal of the posting is subject to a $100 civil penalty.
