13 | On December 23, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zirbes conducted a follow-up virtual inspection to the facility via FaceTime. LPA met with Licensee Brandi Crooms. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations.
During the course of investigating the allegations regarding personal rights and supervision, LPA conducted interviews with children, staff, and parents. LPA made three attempts to interview additional parties involved however the attempts were unsuccessful. The interviews completed revealed inconsistencies regarding if Child 1 (C1) was left unattended and crying in the backyard of the facility for approximately six minutes. Therefore, the allegations are deemed Unsubstantiated. A finding of unsubstantiated means that the allegations may have happened or is valid, but there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred.
Technical Assistance was provided to the Licensee on this date. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted, this report and LIC 9102 were reviewed with the Licensee Brandi Crooms.
