- On 2/14/2023, Licensing Program Analyst’s (LPA’s) Kris Diaz and Carol Heath conducted an announced Pre-Licensing inspection with applicant, Brittany Faria to ensure the facility meets basic licensing requirements set forth by Title 22, Health and Safety, and statutory requirements. The applicant is requesting to provide care for a small family childcare home with a capacity of 8 children. LPA toured the house in and out to ensure it met FCCH requirements. During today's inspection, the applicant was home alone. Applicant has two dogs. One is the family pet and the other is a dog the applicant is rehoming.
· Hours of operation: are 6:00am – 6:00pm The Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. The provider will provide as needed and will notify LPA when children needing this plan are enrolled.
The home is described as follows:
· This is a 1 story home that consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a garage, and two backyard areas. Backyard area #1 will be used as a play area for children at a later time. Backyard area #1 and backyard area #2 is off-limits. The home has central heating and air conditioning. All windows are free of cracks, bugs, and debris. Hanging window blinds cords are inaccessible to children. The off-limits areas are Garage, Kitchen, Master Bedroom, Bedroom 2, Bathroom #2, and the Backyard areas #1 and #2.
· Indoor:
· Main area: Main care is provided in Bedroom 1, Living Room, Dining Room, and Bathroom #1. Children use the bathroom down the hallway. Children will not have access to the backyard at this time.
· Bedroom #1: Is set-up as the main childcare area. LPA observed many age-appropriate toys, books, and other materials. |
