Childcare Area: Per Applicant, the family room will be utilized for the Family Child Care (off the kitchen) gated from the rest of the house. LPA observed age-appropriate furniture, toys, and books for the children. Sufficient napping equipment (cots observed). All unused electrical outlets are covered. The isolation area will be inside the living room until the parent can pick up the child. Some of the blinds are vertical and others, the cords tied up high.
Child Bathroom: The Bathroom on the other side of the home it was toured and inspected the sink/toilet are operable. There were no shampoos, mouthwash, razors, poisons, or medications. The cabinets were empty (safety latch). The bathroom was clean, sanitized, and in good repair. Per applicant, the children will be supervised going to the restroom.
Outside: The backyard was inspected. The backyard is fenced all around. The back side of the fence leans and is not sturdy to touch. LPA recommended repair. There is grass, gravel, and concrete area for active play. LPA observed age -appropriate play equipment. No swing/slide set. There are no bodies of water in the yard. Two AC Units (not covered). LPA recommended them both to be covered. There is a storage shed with a broken door (not locked) LPA recommended repairs. The neighbor on the right has a pool (unfenced). The fence measure 65 inches in height. LPA always recommends supervision for outdoor play.
Off Limit Areas: Bedroom #1 (key lock), Bedroom #2 (key lock), Bedroom #3 (key lock) and Bedroom #4 (safety knob), and Bedroom #5 (key lock), Bathroom #2, Bathroom #3, loft, laundry room (key lock), and Garage (key locked). Backyard. |
