On 07/03/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Babatunde Ibitoye conducted an unannounced follow-up complaint inspection at Just 4 Kids. and met with the Assistant Director Michelle Granados. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the complaint finding for the above complaint allegations.
During today’s visit, LPA observed 18 childcare children in care, present with 2 Teachers.
During the investigation of this complaint, LPA conducted interviews with all parties involved. LPA obtained the facility's children's roster and reviewed the C1 file.
Based on the evidence obtained the interviews and the documents reviewed revealed conflicting statements regarding the allegation that the facility staff did not adhere child’s dietary needs. Currently, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove or disprove the allegation. Therefore, based on the information obtained, the department finds the above allegation is deemed unsubstantiated.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to Assistant Director Michelle Granados along with a Notice of Site Visit and Appeal Rights.

On 07/03/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Babatunde Ibitoye conducted an unannounced follow-up complaint inspection at Just 4 Kids and met with the Assistant Director Michelle Granados. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the complaint finding for the above complaint allegations.
During today’s visit, LPA observed 18 childcare children present with 2 Staff.
During the investigation of this complaint, LPA conducted interviews with all parties involved. LPA obtained the facility's children's roster and reviewed the C1 file.
Based on the evidence obtained it was revealed that the staff was negligent in changing C#1 diaper, Staff left C#1 in wet clothing while in care.Therefore, the preponderance of the evidence has been met and the allegation has been substantiated.
Deficiency cited sees LIC 9099D:
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to the Assistant Director Michelle Granados along with a Notice of Site Visit and Appeal Rights.

Per Assistant director the facility will conduct training for staffs on Basic Health and Hygiene practices for early childhood setting. The facility will submit proof of completion by due date.

During today’s visit, LPA observed 18 childcare children present with 2 Staff
During the investigation of this complaint, LPA conducted interviews with all parties involved. LPA obtained the facility's children's roster and reviewed the C1 file.
Based on the evidence obtained it was revealed that the staff does not ensure C#1 has appropriate clothing while in care. Staff left C#1 walking without a shoe which resulted in C#1 having a blister under the foot. Therefore, the preponderance of the evidence has been met and the allegation has been substantiated.
Deficiency cited sees LIC 9099D: Type A deficiency issued.
Upon receipt of a Type A deficiency the licensee shall post the report for 30 days in addition to the Notice of Site Visit & provide copies of the licensing report to parents/guardians of children in care.
