25 | On Wednesday, February 5, 202) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA's), Sherell Braddock and Hanna Cha conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an INCREASE in capacity from 12 preschool students to 30 preschool students. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representatives Patricia Jacobs and Claudia Garcia.. The facility is requesting to be licensed for 30 preschool children in preschool classroom's #1 and #2. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 6:30pm. Present during today’s inspection were (10) children with (5) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Patricia Jacobs that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor activity space (preschool classroom #2. Total indoor activity space measured (720 sq ft ), which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 20 Children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots/mats, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via disposable water cups. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. (Fire clearance was granted on (01/07/25).LPA observed a total of (3) sinks and (2) toilets available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (30) children. |
