On May 3, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kuliema Calloway made an unannounced visit to the Kids and Care Inc. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a complaint follow-up inspection visit to deliver findings for the above allegation(s). LPA met with S2 who granted access, there were 1 child and 6 staff present.

During the initial visit on 2/14/2023, LPA observed facility was within ratio with 34 children and 10 staff providing care and supervision.

During the investigation, LPA observed, conducted interviews, and record reviews. Allegation #1 the evidence revealed the daycare was short staffed and were able to provide coverage from other sister sites however, staff breaks, and lunches were not timely. Allegation #2 the evidence revealed infants are sleeping one, two, and three hours, and staff is providing reports to the parents.
