On March 6, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kris Diaz conducted an unannounced inspection at the facility. LPA was greeted by Center Director, Tammy Esquivel, who granted LPA access and guided on a tour of the facility. The purpose of the visit was to follow up on a UIR received at the Palmdale RO on 1.30.25. At the time of the visit, LPA observed 97 children in care with 9 staff. LPA conducted a safety inspection that yielded zero deficiencies. LPA also inspected the swimming pool that is on the property, but not utilized for day care purposes.

During the inspection, LPA spoke with C1, C2, S1, S2 and gathered documents pertinent to the inspection. After speaking with all parties involved it is determined that the incident that occurred between the children was an accident and facility staff resolved the incident in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. No citations were issued.

Exit interview conducted. LPA read and provided a copy of this report to the Center Director, Tammy Esquivel. LPA provided Appeal Rights and a Notice of Site Visit that must e posted for 30 days.
