32 | LPA observed the bathroom for safe and sanitary operating conditions. Toilet paper, paper towels, and soap available to children. LPA observed two toilets, one hand washing sink inside the bathroom, and one portable hand washing sink located adjacent to the bathroom. LPA observed a changing mat in clean condition. All hazardous items stored in high shelf, made inaccessible to children. A half-door installed to allow for visual supervision.
LPA observed the outdoor play area for age-appropriate toys/equipment, safety, and good repair. The outdoor play area is accessed from the preschool classroom and enclosed. LPA observed two empty wading pools and advised Director to hang dry empty wading pools after each use. Per LPA observation, there are no pools/spas/or bodies of water on the premises. An approved waiver on file regarding use of indoor gym as part of outdoor play area capacity and sharing spaces on an alternate schedule. LPA verified waiver posted. At time of inspection, LPA verified facility in adherence to the conditions of the waiver.
File Review: LPA reviewed two children files which included all required documentation. LPA reviewed three staff files which included all required documentation. LPA verified background clearance of all staff present. Last disaster drill completed on 12/2025. Last lead testing conducted on 07/2025. LPA observed required postings. Electronic sign-in and out sheet utilized.
Other: Per Director, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Per Director, there are no firearms/weapons stored on premises.

Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
