25 | On 9/2/22 at 1:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Martha Malane conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of adding the 2's Classroom for the facility’s use. Upon arrival, LPA met with Teacher, Leticia Ruiz and toured the facility. There were seven (7) children and one (1) staff member present. At 1:42pm, Director, Becky Miller arrived at the facility.
The new 2’s Classroom was inspected and measured. The 2’s Classroom measured a total of 529.95 square feet. The classroom is located next to the outdoor activity space and just outside of the current preschool classrooms. There is one (1) toilet and one (1) sink for children’s use in the classroom. The classroom is equipped with appropriate furniture including tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves and other materials for the children. No hazardous items were observed. Cleaning solutions and disinfectants are made inaccessible to children. The facility may utilize the new 2’s Classroom as of today’s date, 9/2/22.
A fire clearance for 45 preschool children (age 2 - Kindergarten) was granted 8/29/22.
LPA and director discussed water testing for child care centers built before 2010 and LPA provided: PIN 21-21-CCP: Lead Testing of Water in Licensed Child Care Centers Per AB 2370.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
An exit interview was conducted with Director, Becky Miller. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
