25 | On 2/2/2024 at 12:35pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Vicky Williamson conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with the Director, Delia Salcido. There were 34 children and seven (7) staff present at the facility.
On 1/23/2024, the Director notified the Department that on 1/22/2024, due to major flooding the licensed classrooms #2, #3, #4, #7, & #8 were temporarily relocated to the King Hall and Youth Center on the premises.
During today's visit, LPA conducted an inspection of classrooms #7 and #8. Classrooms #7 and #8 have been restored and are ready for use by the day care children. The classrooms are approved for use effective today, February 2, 2024. Director requested to utilize two bathrooms located outside of the King Hall building. There are two separate bathrooms that have one toilet and one sink each, which is sufficient to accommodate the 23 children that will be located in the Youth Center. LPA observed signs posted outside of the bathrooms displaying that the bathrooms are for children's use only.
Director was reminded to contact LPA upon the completion of the restoration of classrooms #2, #3, & #4.

Notice of Site Visit is required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
