On 6/14/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Patrick Ma made an unannounced visit to conduct a Case Management visit to inspect/measure Playgrounds 1 and 2, and the dedicated space for Toddler Component to update Preschool license. Toddler component has been suspended since 6/11/21 per Licensee’s request. During suspended status, facility may use toddler space for preschool children. LPA advised, once Toddler component is reactivated, condition of Toddler rooms and dedicated outdoor play area must return to Toddler regulation compliance. Upon arrival, LPA met with Co-Director Patricia McCutcheon. LPA inspected and measured playgrounds.

Playground 1 (Left side): 3,980 square feet
Playground 2 (Right side): 1698.08 sq ft
Toddler playground (adjacent to Playground 2): 1487.27 sq ft

Total square footage between playground 1 and 2 combined is 5,678.08 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate 75 children. Toddler outdoor playground may accommodate 19 children. Total outdoor space between the three playgrounds is sufficient for 94 children.

Playground has shade provided by tree. No hazards were observed. All equipment available on the playgrounds are age appropriate. Measurements for Playgrounds 1, 2 and Toddler playground, is updated to license.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Patricia McCutcheon. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
