25 | On 3/20/23 at 8:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Mangina conducted a Case Management/Increase in capacity inspection of home with Licensees Wardya Shamoon. The purpose of the visit is to ensure that the home is in compliance with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3. Licensee was in ratio and capacity with no children present. LPA used Language link interpreter Ahmad #15665 as translator.
The four Bedroom two bathroom, single story home, was toured and inspected to ensure a safe and healthful environment for children. The 2A10BC fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector are operational. Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. There are no bodies of water on the premises. Licensee’s CPR and First aid certifications are valid through June 2024. Mandated reporter training was waived due to language proficiency. Assistant’s CPR/First aid expires March 2024 and Mandated reporter expires 1/18/25. Licensee and staff meet immunization requirements.
The following areas are used for the child care: living room 1, living room 2, kitchen, dining area, hallway, hall bathroom, bedroom 1, and bedroom 2. Off limit areas include: bedroom 3, bedroom 4 and attached garage. All poisons, cleaners, and hazardous items are inaccessible to children. Electrical outlets are covered, and window cords are kept out of reach. There are sufficient and appropriate toys and equipment available in the home and backyard for children’s use. Outdoor play area is a fully fenced backyard. Licensee advised to remove stationary bicycle and place in off limits side yard.
All adults in the facility have submitted or been cleared for criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Licensees were reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including
