25 | On December 16, 2025 at 9:30AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hector Canton conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection with applicant Claudia Reynoso, and assistant, Iris Boenker. Upon arrival, LPA identified themselves, disclosed the purpose of the visit, and was granted entry.
The home is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, single-family home. The applicant stated that the facility will operate Monday to Friday 6AM to 6PM. Areas designated for child care include the living room, dining room/area, the bathroom, and bedroom 2. Areas made off-limits to children include bedroom 1, which are inaccessible using knob covers. The applicant stated that outdoor play will take place in the backyard, which was observed to be free of hazards and debris. Applicant was reminded that children will always be under direct visual supervision while outdoors.
The home was observed to be clean, organized, and free of immediate hazards. There were no bodies of water on the premises. The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and found to be operational. A fire extinguisher rated 2A:10BC was observed to be fully charged and accessible. All cleaning supplies, medications, and other hazardous materials were stored securely and out of reach of children. The applicant stated that there are no firearms or weapons in the home. A working telephone is available. Age-appropriate toys, books, and equipment were observed to be in good condition and sufficient in quantity.
The applicant, Claudia Reynoso, provided proof of control of property. The applicant owns the property. A fire clearance request was submitted to the local fire authority as required for large capacity licensure. The fire clearance was granted on December 10, 2025.
The applicant completed the required 8-hour Preventative Health Practices training, including lead poisoning prevention, on August 12, 2021. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications are currently and expire on January 17, 2027. Mandated Reporter Training (AB1207) was completed on February 5, 2024. Immunization records for the applicant and all adult residents were reviewed and found to be in compliance with SB792.
