13 | On 5/1/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced visit to deliver findings for a complaint received on 2/11/25. The LPA met with Acting Assistant Director, Angelique Becerra. There were 69 preschool children and 18 staff present today.
Based on file review, staff interviews, parent interviews, and review of pertinent documentation, there was not enough evidence to support the allegations that staff are operating out of ratio, unqualified staff are supervising children, and that staff are not preventing a child from injuring other children. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not enough evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred, therefore the above allegations are found to be unsubstantiated.
No deficiencies were cited today. The exit interview was conducted with the Acting Assistant Director, Angelique Becerra. Appeal Rights and a copy of the licensing report was provided. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
