On 2/15/23, at approximately 10:00am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Saraliz Velando and Selina Siao conducted an unannounced complaint visit for the purpose of delivering findings for complaint received on 12/7/22. LPA met with the new Director, Patricia Munoz and toured the facility. There were 6 staff and 46 children present. This incident occurred on 12/6/22, a tour was given by the acting director and she told the parent they have not had a director in 6 months.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Signature at the bottom of this report confirms receipt. Based on the information obtained from a file review and parent and staff interviews, it was not determined that the facility was operating without a director. The preponderance of the evidence has not been met and therefore, the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. Exit interview was conducted with director, Patricia Munoz. Appeal Rights and licensing report was reviewed with the Director. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
