25 | On 1/27/2025 at 9:20AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Selina Siao conducted an announced Pre-Licensing inspection for a change of ownership inspection from an Individual to an LLC. Upon arrival, LPA met with Applicant/Director Nadezda Guseva. Applicant is requesting to be licensed for 45 preschoolers (ages 2 to kindergarten) in classrooms #1 (Suite #5), #2 (Suite #6) and #3 (Suite #7). Hours of operation will be Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm.
All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Ms. Nadezda that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities. When medications are on site, Ms. Nadezda stated that they will be in a wall cabinet located in room #3. A fully equipped first aid kit is located in the wall cabinet in room #3. There is an operational carbon monoxide detector on site located in room #1 (isolation area). All required licensing documents were observed posted on the wall in room #2 (main entrance area). Children will be signed in and out at room #2 clip board above the children’s cubby.
LPA continued to tour the facility and measured all indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured 2480.77 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 45 children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via the children’s own water bottles and it gets refill from a water dispenser located in room #3. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. Applicant stated that there are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on 10/08/2024.
LPA observed a total of 3 sinks and 3 toilets available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 45 children. There is a separate staff restroom equipped with a toilet and a sink. The isolation area for children who are ill will be the isolation area in room #1 (also where the facility store the children’s napping equipment) and the isolation restroom is the staff’s restroom located in room #2.
