13 | On June 8, 2023, at 9:57 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cindy Hamilton, met with Children’s Paradise-Bobier (CCC) Director Kendall Abud to deliver the findings for the above stated allegations. During the investigation, LPA Hamilton conducted interviews with three staff and reporting party. LPA Hamilton conducted a health and safety inspection of the CCC on March 30, 2023 and May 17, 2023 and no safety concerns were noted. LPA obtained and reviewed the facility’s class rosters, Unusual Incident Reports (UIRs), Ouch Reports and other pertinent documentation.
On March 15, 2023, Community Care Licensing (CCL) received information stating staff did not prevent daycare child from hitting another child while in care and staff left daycare child soiled for an extended period of time. Regarding the allegation that staff did not prevent daycare child from hitting another child while in care, it was alleged that Child #1 (C1) was punched in the nose by an unknown child causing C1 to have a bloody nose. It was also alleged that there was a lot of blood, blood clots and no medical intervention was given. |
