25 | On date at 2:50 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nasha King and Cindy Hamilton arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. Present during this inspection were: Ilham Daanoune and Hassane Alami. The home is two-stories with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, with attached garage. LPAs toured the facility, inside and out with Ilham Daanoune and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Per Applicant, off-limit areas include: Entire 1st level of home (3 bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, Backyard, and Laundry Room. Off-limit areas have a child proof lock, making them inaccessible to children. The daycare room is located downstairs in the garage/basement.
· Normal hours of operation will be: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
· Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors were tested by the applicant during this inspection and were in working order.
· There is no central heating and air conditioning in the daycare area.
· The fire extinguisher is a 2A: 10 BC, fully charged and met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be inaccessible. Storage of poisons and toxins are inaccessible to children and locked in the laundry room. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are inaccessible and stored in in the upstairs kitchen area, which is off-limits. Medicines are locked and stored in the upstairs master bathroom, which is off-limits.
· There is no First Aid Kit. Applicant will purchase a First Aid kit.
· No guns or weapons are stored in the facility as of this date. Applicant understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· Stairs are barricaded.
· The fireplace is properly screened, and is located in an off-limit area.
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys were observed.
· LPAs observed a working telephone, which is the applicant's cellphone. |
