25 | On 2/28/25 at 8:50 a.m., Licensing Program Analysts (LPA’s) William Chancellor and Sandra Pulido arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Thursday 7AM – 7PM, Friday 7AM-9PM.
· Off-limit areas include: Master bedroom, bedroom 2, the kitchen, and the attached garage. All bedroom and garage doors have second set of doorknobs inaccessible to daycare children. Facility additionally has child safety gates preventing access to the kitchen, bedrooms, and garage, making them off limits.
· The facility is licensed to have no more than 12 children as a large FCCH and is operating within the licensed capacity. Appropriate ratios were maintained during inspection, with 2 staff and 2 infants.
· Appropriate supervision was being provided during this inspection.
· A working telephone is present, and the current mobile number is on file.
· A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed mounted in the kitchen wall. A smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were present and tested by the Licensee during this inspection.
· Located in the living room, the fireplace is properly screened and covered.
· All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children.
· Toxins are locked and inaccessible to children in care in a locked cabinet underneath the kitchen sink.
· Weapons are not present/stored at the home at this time, according to licensee. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
