25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Chancellor conducted an unannounced annual inspection for Baldo Family Childcare at the above home on February 25, 2026, at 12:05 PM. LPA met with Licensee Ilaria Baldo who guided LPA on a tour of the home. LPA verified that eight daycare children are enrolled and five were present during the annual inspection, along with two assistant.
The facility operates Monday through Thursday 7AM – 7PM, Friday 7AM-9PM. Off-limit areas include: Master bedroom, bedroom 2, the kitchen, and attached garage. All bedroom and garage doors have second set of doorknobs inaccessible to daycare children. Facility additionally has child safety gates preventing access to the kitchen, bedrooms, and garage, making them off limits. The facility is licensed as a large Family Child Care Home (FCCH) with a maximum capacity of twelve children.
A working cell phone is available, and the current phone number on file is correct. A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed, along with a functioning smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were tested by the Licensee. The fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children, and all hazardous items, including toxins, are stored securely and are inaccessible to children. No weapons are present, and the Licensee, Ilaria Baldo, understands that all firearms, weapons, and ammunition must be locked separately and made inaccessible as per Title 22 Regulations.
The facility provides clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys for children. A current roster is on file, and required postings, including the Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan, and Notification of Parent’s Rights, are displayed. The most recent disaster drill was documented in February 2026.
