On 12/1/21 @ 10:50AM, LPA Nancy Diaz conducted an unannounced inspection to deliver the findings to the above allegations. Toured the classrooms with Ass't Director, Monica Collins. Site Director, Kendra Dedmon arrived shortly. Observed present today were 47 preschool children with staff Victoria Cagney, Ana Pacheco, Shuhad Althabiti, Haley Adams, Angela Bowles and Junior Salacup.
The Department fully investigated the above allegations and obtained information from facility file review, facility documents and interviews with complainant, parents/guardians of enrolled children, staff members and the Director. It was found that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove that a daycare child was inappropriately touched by another daycare child or a staff left a daycare child in soiled diaper for an extended period of time. Therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted with Kendra Dedmon. Notice of Site Visit (LIC9213) was provided and observed posted, this shall remain posted for 30 days.
