It was noted that some staff members spoke louder than others, but this was not deemed inappropriate in tone or volume during LPA's observations. There is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Regarding the allegation Staff handles day care children in a rough manner, based on the investigation conducted by LPA Gerth, which included interviews with staff, children in care, and other pertinent parties, there was no corroborating evidence to support the allegation that staff were handling children in a rough manner. LPA obtained evidence showing that the facility provides ongoing training and support to staff, including acceptable behavior management techniques such as redirection and hands-off approaches. As a result, there is not enough evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the allegation is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED.
