On 10/1/24 at 12:30 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure the citation issued on 8/7/24 was corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Ashley Enwia and was led on a tour the facility. There eighty-five (85) children and ten (10) staff members present.
 
LPA observed facility operating within ratio. LPA observed the following ratios:

Classroom Two A-14 daycare children and 2 staff members
Classroom Two B-12 daycare children and 1 staff member
Classroom 4C/TK-9 daycare children and 1 staff member
Classroom 4B-20 daycare children and 2 staff members
Classroom 4A-12 daycare children and 1 staff member
Classroom-2C-6 daycare children and 2 staff members
Classroom 3A-12 daycare children and 1 staff member

Director submitted a plan of correction on 10/1/24 that states the steps that will be taken in order for ratio to be maintained within regulation. The citation issued on 8/7/24 for facility being out of ratio has been corrected.

A copy of the report and appeal rights (LIC 9058) was provided to Director. LPA observed Licensee post LIC9213 – Notice of Site Visit and Director was advised this notice is to be posted for 30 days from today’s date. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Ashley Enwia.
