13 | On 5/6/25, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Saraliz Velando and Hanna Lucas made an unannounced visit to deliver findings for the complaint received on 2/25/25 regarding the above allegation. The LPAs toured the facility with the Center Director, Jessica Williams. There were 19 infants and 7 staff at the facility today.
Based on file review, staff interviews, and parent interviews there was enough evidence to support the allegation that staff are taking care of children under the influence of marijuana. Staff interviews revealed sufficient information to prove the allegation is valid. The preponderance of the evidence has been met and therefore, the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED.
Type B Violation was cited. Refer to the next page LIC 9099-D for deficiency. The exit interview was conducted with the Center Director, Jessica Williams. Appeal Rights and a copy of the licensing report was provided. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
