25 | On 08/06/2025, at 01:15 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Dana Stevens conducted an unannounced annual required Inspection. LPA met with the Licensee, Patricia Guliasi and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. Upon LPA's arrival, there were eight (8) napping children, three of whom are school-age, and three (3) of whom are under 24 months present during this inspection. Licensee's regular assistant was not present at the time of the inspection, however licensee's adult son was present and assisting with childcare. At 1:40 PM, one of the children under 24 months was picked up by the parent. Days and hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The indoor and outdoor of this single story, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom home was inspected. The following areas are used for childcare: living room, dining room, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, hallway bathroom, backyard patio, and upper backyard play area. Off limits areas include: master bedroom, bathroom 2 (inside of master), laundry room, side yard (right side of patio). They are made inaccessible to day care children by use of door locks, door knob covers and safety gates. Licensee is reminded to maintain visible supervision of children at all times during outdoor play.The fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detector meet requirements. Disinfectants, cleaning compounds and medications where inaccessible to children. The licensee has toys, play equipment and materials available.
During inspection LPA observed that the door to the bedroom where infants were sleeping was closed.
